Stop blaming everything on covid!

It has been obvious for many years that it has become harder and harder to teach American kids due to some parents poor parenting. Sure technology, especially smart phones, have made things worse, and the pandemic exacerbated the problems, but it's not like everything was rosy before. 

Until the culture changes and more parents start doing their jobs properly, kids aren't going to learn much in school. I've been saying this since I was a kid myself (I was just repeating after my mom who was a teacher), but this teacher articulates it quite clearly. See the link below.
